First extreme macro photography made with a vintage bellows tube
A few time ago I saw some very nice extreme macro photography and I said “ok I want to try that!”. Making some research on internet I saw that the principal techniques are macro filters, macro tubes, reversed lens or all of them in one. Looking on the shops for this things I saw that are pretty expensive, specially if are “auto” focus.
Last week looking on eBay I found a very good offer, a vintage Zenith macro bellow. So I bought it and I tried it. So, increasing the space between sensor and lens I not just discover only the magnitud of objects but I discover a lot of dust intro my sensor… dust that in normal situation as portrait or landscape das not appear. The result was pretty nice for my first macro photography made with an old vintage bellow tube and no flash, only with sun light or lamp light at f2.
Sliding the images from above you can see a bird feather, a caterpillar, sugar crystals, a spider, a pistil flower or a finger print.
Very excited to try the others macro techniques and of course cleaning my sensor 🙂
